YOU CANNOT CHANGE YOUR CONDITION UNTIL YOU RECOGNIZE YOUR POSITION || TD Jakes

TD Jakes: You are looking at your conditions and they may really need to change.

But you cannot change your condition until you recognize your position.

When the Bible says that the prodigal son came to himself, his condition was in a hogpen. He’d gone broke, he lost all his money.

He was about to eat that, that the swine did eat and all of a sudden he came to himself.

How could he come to himself without moving? You talk about conditions, but I talking about positions.

When he came to himself, he remembered who he was and said I may be with the pigs but I am not one of the pigs.

How many of my father’s hired men have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will rise..
In other word, I will change my condition because I now understand my position ..

Once you understand your position, you can change your condition..

Very so often when my kids are in a though place, I will send them a note and say ”don’t forget who you are?”
I know who you are, you are not what you did. Because if you can remember your position, you can always change your condition..
