Bishop David Oyedepo || Understanding Spiritual Covering

Among the events of the end time, is God turning the heart of son’s to their father’s and the heart of their father’s to their son’s.

Malachi 4:5-6
“See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes.
He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse.”

Sonship and fatherhood will become increasingly prominent in this end time. In every redeemed soul, we have or discover is accredited father and every father will know when an accredited son or daughter comes to Him.

It’s not about accolades “my father, my father”, it’s about connectivity because as face answer to face, so the heart of man answer’s to another.
Every man without a father is running a risk.

Spiritual father provide a covering that no other methods can provide. According to the word of God; before the great and dreadful day of the Lord will hit the earth, there will be a restoration of sonship and fatherhood in the body of Christ.

The heart of the father will be drawn to the heart of the son to defend the son from the curse.

Let us not be theoretical, you don’t have an inheritance in a pastor, teacher. We only have an inheritance in a father. A good man leaveth an inheritance for his children’s children.

Fatherhood is not an accolade, it’s a revelation that God shows you.

Every prophet sent to you, is ordained a father for you. Elisha shouted “my father, my father”,

2 kings 2:12
Elisha saw this and cried out, “My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!” And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them apart.

Elijah was not his biological father but he was a prophet sent to him…

Then, in 2 kings 6:21 the king cried out to Elisha.

Elisha was not his biological father but he was a spiritual covering. Every prophet sent to you, is sent as a father. Not as a brother, sister, uncle or friend. You don’t have an inheritance in a friend.

I have enjoyed this kind of covering all my life. Yes! I’m sent a prophet. I entered my apostolic phase of ministry in 1992. You are a president of a Nation does not mean you don’t have a father. Fatherhood is a long life demand and it core purpose is your spiritual and my spiritual covering. Please be genuine to your work with God, be true to yourself in your spiritual adventure.

These things are true and they need the call for your choice, if you truly desire a covering against the evil for the day. I have never faked any relationship in my life. You know how many times a hand have been laid on me publicly here! Not many of my friends have that opportunity. Some men have not been touch for years…whether the oil is still there or not, we don’t know but without all contradiction, the less is always blessed of the better and till your end and my end, there will always be somebody ahead of you through whom you can draw.
