- Man is an eternal being, made in the image and likeness of an eternal God. Genesis 1:27, “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female he created them”.
Everybody you see, will live forever. Everybody that has ever been born will live forever
- Man’s life on earth is a temporary adventure, a fraction of man overalls life. That was why James said in “James 4:14, Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes”.
- The end of earthly life, is the beginning of endless life in eternity. Where a person ends on earth, is not the end of life but the beginning of life of another phase. That was why Daniel said in “Daniel 12:2, Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt”.
Everybody will live forever after death and that for every living is either in heaven or in hell.
- God doesn’t desire for anyone to be lost in hell. God desires for people to live forever with him. God is not looking for who to send to hell. He is not struggling for how many people He can send to hell. It is possible to listen to messages and just hear somethings that appear as if God satisfaction is how many people can end in hell. Scriptures made it clear that hell was not made for man.
In “Matthew 25:41, Then He will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels”.
Hell was prepared for devil and his angels, not for man. No wonder in 2 Peter 3:8-9
So, God has no desire for the perishing or the lose of any soul.
What are we saying? The greater bulk of our lives will be spent in eternity. So, wisdom demands that we pay attention to our eternal destination.
Wisdom also demands, that since God is interested in getting us to heaven and not to hell, to understand what we need to do to fulfill His desire of having us with Him.
