Apostle Joshua Selman: Every Great Person, Who Desire To Last In Today’s World, Must Have The Following;
- Prophetic Intercessors Who Hold You Up In Prayer.
If you want to last in this end time, especially in light of the evil that is in our world, you must have prophetic intercessors who lift you up before God.
2 Thessalonians 3:1-2.. Finally, brethren, pray for us(we are anointed people, we are Apostles but pray for us) that the word of the Lord may have free cause and be glorified even as it’s with you.
Verse 2. And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men. Why? For all men have not faith.
1 Peter 5:8 says “Be sober, be vigilant because your adversary the devil as a roaring lion walketh about seeking whom he may devour..
Ladies and gentlemen, there is a project in the kingdom of darkness that is only for great men. There is a project in the kingdom of darkness for all men but there is a project in the kingdom of darkness. Once you are not great, you have not attained a level of greatness in destiny or in the spirit, those spirits have no business looking for you. It’s like a monitor system in the spirit, the moment you hit a certain threshold of greatness and Kingdom influence certain weapons are fashioned against you at that point it is not enough to know how to pray for yourself, you must have an army of people and can I tell you, any great man you love, great preacher, great businessman, the greatest way to show them love is not just giving money, the greatest way to show them love is to lift them before God. When people tell me they are praying for me, I know some are just talking but when I know and decern that some mean what they are saying, I appreciate it beyond anything.
You must have an army of prophetic intercessors who uphold you in prayer.
2. You Must Have A System Of Accountability.
A system of accountability for correction, for advice, for counsel, for guidance and to speak over you prophetically.
Let me give you an advice, never submit to a man you cannot listen to. Never submit to a man, never submit to persons, never submit to any group or any system that you are not committed to listening to.. No! That you cannot take correction, you cannot take counsel, you cannot humble yourself to receive prophetic words over.. That is not submission.
There are many things people call submission in the body of Christ today, it is clear that the graces have not flown to them. Do you know why? Because their hearts are not truly connected, it’s just a ritual.
You must have a system of accountability for correction, for advice, for counsel, for guidance, for prophetic speakings over your life. This is a formula, it has never changed, it will not change. When you see people who rise and last, it is because there is a system within their life.
The dynamics for excelling in life, are so many. You will need assistance at many points in your life. When you start, you usually will start with a lot of overconfidence. “I know what to do”… No, you will need help.
3. You Must Have The Gift Of Godly And Faithful Friends.
Underline Godly and underline faithful. Two words you should never throw away, the gift of Godly and faithful friends.
Proverbs 18:24.. A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
Many of you have been so wounded, betrayed, injured by friendship. Once you hear the word “friend” you don’t even want to listen.
You are full, especially if you are a great man. It’s impossible to have become great without the scar of relationships and the rest but don’t allow the devil deceive you, not everyone is a deceiver. There are Godly and there are faithful people.
Your assignment is to ask God to help you find them. If you find them using your mind, you will keep making mistakes, only God can bring good people to your life.
