There are three levels of perception that God designed in man , which is discernment, reasoning, and emotions. The highest was supposed to be discernment followed by reasoning and then emotions.

If man ever switched any of them, there will be consequences on man. Discernment should be the highest faculty of perception followed by reasoning and emotions and it is based on principles.

As long as that order is followed, devil will never be able to penetrate, his assignment is to find a way of switching because there is a weakness in emotions, the impulse of feeling. Am saying this so that you will know what happened to eve, Satan was not merely talking to her, but he was seeing something in the realm of the spirit that he wants to disconfigured, because until that happens he will not be able to attack her so he used words to stir up her emotions.

Discernment, then reasoning based on the logic of the scripture and the principles of life and then emotions. Emotions are powerful, the connect us to people, the connect us to principles and also connect us to our environment but emotions have a weakness, so you should not express them at a moment for too long because the have consequences. So Satan can switch it, that was the idea before the concept that was hardly understood in the body called convenant.

Convenant was a system God invented to ensure that man remains stable because man is an emotional being, so God created a system that override emotions so that you will be sponsor by another frame work that is more than what you feel, and more than what you think.

Convenant was a system that was created to help you override emotions and maintain consistency.

The fall of man is not all about sinning against God or disobeying God, the fall of man is an attempt to glorify self, so you have to dethrone yourself. If self is still in your life, there is a legitimate crown for the devil to be glorified in and through your life.

Surrender your whole self to God and never allow emotions to ridicule your life.
