- Praise And Worship In Spirit And In Truth.
John 4:23-24 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.”
Spirit means heartfelt. Truth means real/authentic. Let your praise not just come from your lips, let it come from your heart. If it comes from your lips, it will end in the air. If it comes from your heart, it will reach the heart of God. Most times, spiritual communication is heart to heart. So, God just took an information and drop it in your heart.
Did you hear it? I can’t tell.
Did you see it? I can’t tell.
But how is it? But I know… It bypass the seeing and the hearing and went straight to the knowing. The purpose of seeing is to know and the purpose of hearing is to know. At times God will make you know without hearing nor seeing. Most times, Jesus perceive it in His Spirit, not that He heard it or saw it, He knew.
One way for praise to come from your heart, when you sing praise, read the words and sing it with the meaning of the words.
2. Praise And Worship With Your Life.
Isaiah 43:21 the people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise.
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
Praise living can be on a higher level than praise singing. Praise is more of honouring God, adoring Him, elevating Him, where your life is making people never to look down on God or on Church.
Praise living, instead of praise singing.
Thanks living, instead of thanksgiving.
Worship living, instead of just worship singing.
