Giving To The Poor Is Not Charity || Apostle Johnson Suleman

Apostle Johnson Suleman: 1997, as I was walking, I saw two windows who were complaining that they threw their loads out of the house and I was very touched because they were elderly women. We spoke, they were saying this and that happened. And someone just gave me a car that period and I called somebody, asking him if he could buy? I sold it and splitted the money for those widows. I sold my car to pay their rent.

1998, some people had an operation and they seized them because they couldn’t pay, I sold my car again and help them discharged from UBTH.

What am I saying in nutshell, that last money you have today, give it to somebody. Look for that your neighbour that has not eaten, knock on their door and say, “my friend hold this one”, as you do that, you start growing.

All you think about is yourself, you have not helped one person. Carry a cup of rice, a cup of beans, look for a neighbour and give it to them, if you feel they will misunderstand that, add money to it. We are too self-conscious!

He that lended to the poor, lended to the Lord, that which he has given, he will get it back…
